Final consultation - Before you begin, our specialists will review your treatment plan and answer any last-minute questions. Sleeping position: Sleep with your head elevated (at a 45 degree angle) for the first few nights to help reduce swelling. No strenuous activities: Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting and activities that cause sweating for at least 10-14 days. No alcohol and smoking: Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least a week, as they can slow the healing process.
